National Health Service of Ukraine (NSZU) — the central body of executive power, who implements state policy in the field of medical guarantees. NSSU is a national insurer, which concludes contracts with medical institutions and pays for services provided, ensuring patients' access to quality medical care.

Key conditions for patient referral

Before referring patients, Pay attention to the basic requirements for participation in the program of the NSAU IVF:

  • Age of the woman: to 40 years 11 months 31 the day.
  • Indications for the treatment of infertility by IVF:
    • The female factor (except in cases, in need of surrogate motherhood or oocyte donation).
    • The male factor (including indications for the use of donor seminal fluid; donor seminal fluid is paid for separately by the patient).
  • Family status: official or civil marriage. Single women cannot participate in the program.
  • Documents to identify (for both partners):
    • Passport of a citizen of Ukraine.
    • Temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine.
    • Permanent residence permit in Ukraine.
    • Refugee ID.

Patient algorithm

  1. Give the patient a paper direction indicating your names and contact data.
  2. The patient calls to our patient care center by number 0 800 750 390 and is recorded on initial consultation of a reproductive specialist On IVF IVF issues.

The number of attempts under the NSZU program

  • One full IVF cycle (with embryo transfer) per year - in case of pregnancy. If a healthy baby is born, subsequent cycles are not paid.
  • Second complete or incomplete cycle (transfer of cryopreserved embryos) — in case of non-pregnancy.

What is included in the IVF package from NSZU?

The program covers all the main stages of IVF:

  • Carrying out controlled drug stimulation of ovaries.
  • Carrying out aspiration of follicles content ovaries under ultrasound control and search for oocytes in follicular fluid.
  • Analgesia stage of transvaginal aspiration of ovarian follicles.
  • Obtaining sperm from a woman's man, which has indications for the treatment of infertility with DRT, Special processing sperm and preparing it for fertilization.
  • Stage Egg fertilization man's sperm, in particular, by the method of introducing a sperm into the oocyte cytoplasm (ICSI).
  • Cultivation received embryos in the laboratory.

  • Diagnosis of pregnancy (Investigation of HCG levels 10–14 days after embryootransfer, Ultrasound 10–14 days after positive HCG).

  • Carrying out pre-implantation genetic testing of the embryo According to medical indications (chromosomal restructuring in karyotype of one/both partners)
  • Providing medical care in case of complications During the DRT cycle, in particular, the hospitalization of a woman in a hospital, where the DRT cycle was performed, or referring the woman to another health care facility as needed.

What is not covered by the NSZU package?

  • Cryopreservation over 4 embryos (possible for additional payment by a patient).
  • Examination before IVF (According to Order No. 787).
