Laparoscopy

Reproductive surgery: surgical intervention is performed by a surgeon and a reproductive specialist in order to preserve the reproductive health of patients.

Laparoscopy is a method of minimally invasive surgical intervention for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. Such operations are carried out, in particular, on the organs of the abdominal cavity and pelvis. At the same time, gynecological diseases have their own specificity, therefore, it is advisable to perform diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy of the pelvic organs in a medical institution, who is experienced in gynecological and reproductive surgery. For female patients, who are planning pregnancy, this is especially important: intervention tactics must consider more than just the current problem, and future reproductive plans.

We, the "Nadia Odesa" medical center, have experience in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases, we use modern laparoscopic equipment and pay special attention to female patients, who are planning pregnancy. One of the features of our work is reproductive surgery: intervention tactics can be discussed with the participation of a gynecologist-surgeon and a reproductive specialist, to consider more than just the current medical problem, and the patient's reproductive plans.

Course of laparoscopy

Before laparoscopy, the patient undergoes a consultation with a surgeon and an anesthesiologist.

Laparoscopy is performed under general anesthesia, therefore it is absolutely painless, and its duration is determined individually for each patient. The surgeon performs the operation with special laparoscopic instruments through several small incisions with a diameter of up to 1 cm, observing through an electron-optical laparoscope (video camera, which makes it possible to display a high-quality enlarged image on the screen and thus plan and perform interventions with visual control).
