Stages of treatment

The gynecologist chooses the optimal method of treatment in accordance with the collected anamnesis and the patient's medical history, therefore, the treatment process mostly consists of the following stages:

  • 1. Doctor's consultationThe doctor examines the patient's medical history, clarifies information. It depends on the completeness of the collected information, how effectively the doctor will be able to help in each individual case.
  • 2. Diagnostics (instrumental, laboratory, narrow specialists — if necessary)Examination of the cervix in mirrors, taking smears on the flora (urogenital scraping) and oncocytology (pap test). If necessary, the doctor will offer to do additional tests or undergo an examination by a narrow specialist (for example, endocrinologist or therapist).
  • 3. Repeated consultation with the doctor based on the results of the diagnosis to select the most effective treatment tacticsAfter collecting anamnesis and detailed examination, the doctor makes a diagnosis and outlines options for solving a problem with a detailed analysis of the features of each option and calculates an approximate time, necessary for treatment.
  • 4. Treatment and its controlThe entire treatment plan is explained by the doctor and agreed with the patient. During the treatment, the patient has the opportunity to communicate with the doctor to discuss additional questions regarding the treatment plan.
